Abstract
The problem in this study is related to the loading and unloading process, while the research results show that the loading and unloading process at PT. The Wasaka Stevedore Line during the Covid 19 pandemic had not run optimally because the procedures had not gone well, the obstacles that occurred during the loading and unloading process often resulted in damage to the equipment and the storage area was not wide enough. This study used observation, interview, and documentation data collection methods. the location of this research is at PT. Wasaka Stevedore Line Batam. The results of this study are the loading and unloading of goods carried out by PT. Wasaka Stevedore Line Very mature field preparation, Good communication with related parties (shipping agents, goods owners / freight forwarders), Obtaining the necessary initial documents, Preparation for work implementation, Holding internal meetings (meetings) for work planning, Holding meetings work (meeting) with related parties, Ready at the dock when the ship docks and immediately carry out inspection of goods to be unloaded with the ship noting "abnormalities found", Immediately instruct TKBM- HR to carry out demolition, Carry out tally activities for goods goods unloaded, Prepare - carry out documentation of unloading activities and the process of unloading goods includes, Stevedoring Activities Cargodoring Activities, Deliverydoring Activities, Receivedoring Activities. The constraints faced by PT. The Wasaka Stvedore Line includes natural or weather factors. There are queues at the wharf, TKBM conducting demonstrations or demonstrations, transportation equipment that is not on time and the weight of goods is heavier
