Abstract

Electrical energy from renewable sources is an alternative energy that needs to be developed, various efforts have been made by the government for the use of electrical energy began to shift to renewable sources. To get that energy must spend a lot of money and use sophisticated technology. Most people prefer to utilize manually powered generators to cope with a sudden blackout. This underlies the author to create a final project entitled the design of generator motor as an alternative electric power. Using the ZMPT101B sensor as a detector of the state of the PLN and using two relays as contacts that control the motor that serves to become a temporary reservoir during the occurrence of a power outage. In the test conducted the time lag between the time of the blackout with the generator motor, the average time of pause is only 2 seconds, then the sensor ZMPT101B used has an average error of 4.77%.
