Abstract
Cut Nyak Dien, which is located in the city of Dumai, is a provincial road that is often passed by CPO vehicles and public transportation. Traffic jams often occur on this road section caused by the disturbance of CPO transport vehicles. Passing trucks cannot drive optimally because the roads are close to community areas, thus affecting traffic flow and road performance. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct studies related to the performance of road sections, so that problems in the field can be controlled.the method used to analyze the performance of roads using PKJI 2014. the results of data analysis using PKJI 2014 obtained a road capacity value of 2404 skr/hour and the highest existing degree of saturation of 0.65 for dj 5 and 10 years in the future, namely 0.77 and 1.03, it can be concluded that the service level of the "cut nyak dien" road in condition 10 is unsafe so that geometric improvements need to be made
