Abstract
The residents of the Sungai Apit Subdistrict are still experiencing difficulties in finding service providers. Generally, the process of searching for services in the Sungai Apit Subdistrict is conducted through word of mouth and even on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. Based on this issue, a service marketplace application is proposed for service search in the Sungai Apit Subdistrict, utilizing a website platform. The application is designed using programming languages like HTML, PHP, and MySQL for the database. With this application, service users can locate service providers based on service categories, village categories, and through a search function. Furthermore, service providers can market multiple services, create order lists, and generate work reports. Application testing will be carried out using the black box method, involving both service users and service providers. From the testing results, it can be inferred that from the perspective of service users, the available features in the application can be executed. However, there is an existing error in the comment feature, rendering it unusable. On the service provider side, the available features in the application can be effectively used. Testing with administrators involves verifying service data and confirming service listings to enable marketing on the application.
