Abstract
Air Putih RoRo Port is a port that connects the Bengkalis Island area with the mainland island of Sumatra / Sungai Pakning. This port is a port with very busy crossing activities. This can be seen in the queues of vehicles that will cross the Air Putih – Sungai Pakning crossing on weekends and national holidays. The purpose of this study is to examine the queuing system and determine alternative vehicle queues as well as obtain the results of an analysis of the level of demand for productivity services for passengers/vehicles loading RoRo ships at the Air Putih Bengkalis RoRo Port. The method used is field survey, steady state substitution and least squares linear regression method to forecast productivity for the next 5 years. Based on survey data, the queuing system is not in a steady-state condition because the condition ????????<1 is not met. To handle the queue, the steady state substitution method is used by adding 1 pier with a vehicle transport capacity to the ship of 130 motorcycle vehicles and 60 car vehicles. The results of this method at the busiest queue time for motorcycle and car lanes are the server idle rate of 1.6% and 4%, the service level utility is 98.4% and 96.4%, the average vehicle in the queue is 61 vehicles and 26 vehicles, the average vehicle in the system is 62 vehicles and 27 vehicles, the average vehicle time waiting in the queue is 29.52 minutes and 28.92 minutes, the average vehicle time in the queue is 30 minutes and 30 minutes. In the analysis of forecasting data for the next 5 years (2023-2027), there is a significant increase such as passenger growth of 5.32%, 2 wheeled vehicles 4.61%, 4-wheeled vehicles 9.15%, and 6 wheeled vehicles 8.41%. From this analysis it can be concluded that the addition of 1 pier the level of ship service is optimal in handling vehicle queues and passenger/vehicle productivity increases every year at the Air Putih RoRo Port.
