Abstract
Extreme Programming is a software development methodology aimed at improving software quality and being sensitive to modifications to customer requirements. Competency Test or Professional Certification is a process of providing educational certificates to workers who have met certain requirements. At the Bengkalis State Polytechnic, an institution of higher education in Indonesia, competency testing is a crucial element in ensuring students have competencies that meet the standards set as one of the requirements for graduation. One of the problems faced by the Bengkalis State Polytechnic LSP is the ineffectiveness of data collection of test participants and assessors and the implementation of assessments because they are still carried out in a conventional way. Therefore a competency test application was made at the Bengkalis State Polytechnic with the aim of facilitating admins, assessors, and assessors in the professional certification process at Polbeng. This system was built with the PHP programming language and uses the Laravel framework, for databases using MySQL. The results obtained from this study are applications built quickly and get two iterations. Based on the tests that have been carried out, this application is included in the good category so it is feasible to use.
