Abstract
A durian opening tool is a tool made using Stainless steel material on the frame and blade to keep the durian fruit clean When opened, it remains clean and can be easily disassembled and installed Easy to carry, this tool functions to open durian fruit easily mechanical system, namely by moving the tool by hand without having to holding durian can increase the safety factor as well saves processing time with minimal labor required possible and can prevent the risk of work accidents occurring at any time open durian fruit The result of the durian opening tool is as a tool to make it easier to open durian fruit, and compare times taken in opening the durian is much faster than the actual manuals. The average time obtained by using the opening tool durian is 5.3 seconds while the average time obtained manually using a knife is 36.6 seconds. So the results become better after using a tool for opening durian as an opener for durian fruit fast.
