Abstract
Electrical energy is a very inportant need for humans, because all dayly activities cannot be sparated For electrical energy. One of them is fishermen who word to catch fish at sea, electrica enegy is needed to turn on the lighiting on fishing boats, making it easier for fishermen to work, besides that electrical energy is also needed to illuminate the boat at night and the needs of fishermen are inseparablefrom electrical energy. And most of the people of Bengkalis Regency work as fishermen. Activities as fishermen use fishing boat that are generally made of wood. Fishing boat are operated using dompeng machines. When the ship operates, the wind that blows is quite strong, couple the average wind speed in the waters of Bengkalis island is 6.0 m / s. solar cell system and wind power ( wind power) as an altermative energy source on fishing vessels for fishermen in Bengkalis Regency.
