Abstract
Roads are land infrastructure that continues to experience an increase in economic growth in Indonesia which causes an increase in vehicle volume. Therefore, to support the smooth construction of road pavements, quality materials must be used as regulated in the 2018 Bina Marga Agency Regulation Revision 2. To increase the durability of the asphalt mixture, one of them is to use aggregates that are substituted with spent leaching earth (SBE). Replacing fillers with SBE is predicted to increase durability. This study aims to determine how much influence the characteristics of the marshall on the AC-WC asphalt mixture replaces the filler with SBE. The results of the study showed that the Optimum Asphalt Content (KAO) used was 5.5%, this KAO was used to make test objects with SBE filler using SBE variations of 15%, 30%, 45%, 60%, 75%, and 90%. From the test results, the most effective variation used as a substitute for fly ash was obtained at 60% variation because its overall characteristics met the specifications with Stability values = 2305.73 kg, VITM = 3.10%, VMA = 15.26%, VFWA = 79.82%, Flow = 2.5 mm, MQ = 938.73 kg, and Density = 2.320.
