Abstract

Operational grants for places of worship are provided according to the regulations of the Regent of Bengkalis through the Social Welfare section, which is tasked with managing grant data. One of the common issues faced by the Social Welfare section of the Regional Secretariat of Bengkalis Regency is managing the places of worship that receive grants. Currently, the processing of grant data has not been computerized, leading to frequent errors in filling out grant recipient data. These errors include duplicate entries of proposals, changes in data because a proposal had already received a grant in the previous year, and the need to re-enter grant data that has already been processed, which is especially time-consuming when dealing with large amounts of data. This research aims to develop an application that can manage grant data, verify grant recipients, provide verification to potential recipients, upload proof of disbursement, and compile data on grant recipients. For potential grant recipients, the application will allow them to upload grant proposals, receive proposal verification, and view proof of disbursement. This application is built using PHP programming language and MySQL database. The test results show that the application functions well, with features for the recapitulation of grants for places of worship and the submission of grant proposals for places of worship.
