Abstract

Each year, many students migrate to Bengkalis Island to pursue their education, while others graduate and return to their hometowns or work in other cities. New students usually need boarding equipment, while graduates often look for ways to sell the equipment they can't take with them. To address this issue, the author developed a web-based application for buying and selling used boarding equipment. This application allows sellers to easily add photos, descriptions, and prices of items. Buyers can use search and filter features to find items that meet their needs. Testing using the Black-box Testing method ensures that all functions work well. Testing involving students as sellers, buyers, and administrators showed that the application's features are easy to use and function properly. Thus, this application is ready to be used and is expected to help students in Bengkalis Island in buying and selling used boarding equipment.
