Abstract

BEM is an abbreviation for "Student Executive Body", which is an organization or group of students at the Bengkalis State Polytechnic. BEM has several activities and interests, one of which is in community social assistance or what is called fundraising. When collecting donations, BEM members still collect manually, and often BEM members collect donations at red light intersections or in other places. In this research, the author discusses the design of a Fundraising Application for Community Social Assistance, aimed at making it easier for BEM members to carry out the process of collecting donations. Based on the results of testing at two stages, namely on BEM members and users (raisers and donors), the results were that this fundraising application for community social assistance was very helpful in various aspects. For BEM members, this application makes it very easy for BEM members to raise funds and manage the amount of incoming donations. Meanwhile, for donors, this application greatly simplifies the process of viewing fundraising information and making donations online. And for admins, this application also makes it easier to provide information related to fundraising and managing incoming donations.
