Abstract

This research was conducted in the Bengkalis District, specifically to understand the primary needs in ordering and purchasing gallon water, which are priorities for students living around the Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis campus in Bengkalis Regency. The main focus of this research is to develop a website-based gallon ordering system that provides better control for consumers, allowing them to monitor their orders and receive accurate information regarding the delivery process. The main features of this system, including an easy-to-understand ordering form, integration with online payment systems, and real-time delivery status updates, have been tested to ensure functionality and user satisfaction. The testing results show that these features effectively facilitate the transaction process, improve the accuracy of delivery information, and provide a better user experience. Additionally, text message notifications providing important information such as order confirmations and delivery status have proven effective in increasing customer trust in the system.
