Abstract
This study aims to determine and understand the mechanism of factors causing delays in the maintenance of the Navigational Support System (SBNP). A regular SBNP maintenance schedule is required to keep all facilities functioning properly and ensure the safety and comfort of sailing vessels. Maintenance of SBNP includes routine inspections, periodic maintenance and repairs to avoid sudden malfunctions that could disrupt operations and cause losses. In addition, by complying with the established maintenance schedule, it can minimize the risk of system failure, maintain asset value, and meet applicable safety standards and environmental regulations. This research uses the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Minimum Cut Set (MCS) methods to identify and determine the factors that cause delays in SBNP maintenance. This research was conducted from June to July 2024. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the maintenance and replacement of navigational aids has been running well, it's just not optimal.
