Abstract
Decision Support System (DSS) is an information system that aims to increase effectiveness in the decision-making process. Problems that are semi-structured or structured are very commonly used as objects in Decision Support Systems. This research aims to build a decision support system for farmer seed assistance, especially in Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency, which was created to simplify the process of distributing farmer seeds to appropriate farmer groups, so that the distribution becomes more targeted. The method used is the SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method because this method is able to rank the calculation results according to the specified priority scale, so that decision making will better interpret the solution to the problem. This system will be built based on a website using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method because it is incremental, especially for designing applications with short work cycles and at the software development stage involving users to plan system requirements. This system will use the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework. From 15 experimental data, the decision support system for rice seed assistance has a comparative accuracy of 86.67% similarity with the selection data for aid recipients carried out by BPP extension workers.
