Abstract

Bengkalis Island is an area located in the Riau Province which is an archipelago with a dense residential level, therefore there is a need for drainage channels to facilitate access to open waterways. Currently the existing drainage is not efficient and economical in restraining the movement of water currents passing through the drainage channel. Therefore, a research was conducted on precast drainage testing using ferrocement. In precast drainage research using ferrocement required data on the results of the aggregate test used and the mold with a length of 60 cm, height 28 cm, width 28 cm, thickness 4 cm. with drainage molds made of plywood and lat wood.From the test results that have been carried out in the test the results of the test object in the form of drainage, the bending strength data of normal concrete is 20 kn, using ferrocement 40.5 kn and using 30.5 kn reinforcement.
