Abstract
Watering plants is an activity that needs to be considered in carrying out plant maintenance, because plants require adequate air intake, because the level of fertility can be influenced by the intensity of the air it contains. The humidity sensor used in this study is a capacitive type that works based on changes in the value of the dielectric constant. For watering automation, an Arduino UNO Atmega328 microcontroller has been used and also a motor driver as an output to supply electric current to the pump. The results of the design show that the automatic watering system where this can work well, the pump work setting will find moist soil more than 65% the pump will turn off, if the soil is dry less than 64% the pump will run with slow pressure and dry soil more or less. than 30% of the pump will run with strong pressure.
