Abstract
This final project research aims to find out about the mechanism of ship agency services at PT. SuifieBahtera Lines Pekanbaru, identified obstacles in ship agency services at PT. SufieBahtera Lines Pekanbaru. The method used in this thesis research is to use the method of observation and interview methods, as well as qualitative data analysis techniques. The place of this research was carried out in the office of PT. SufieBahtera Lines Pekanbaru which I carried out from April to August 2021. The results obtained by the author during the research were the mechanism for ship agency services at PT. SufieBahtera Lines Pekanbaru which has not been implemented optimally due to late document provision, lack of security equipment for agents. The suggestion for this research is that communication and cooperation between shipping agents and related agencies must be established in accordance with applicable procedures and regulations.
