Abstract
This study aims to find out what preparation are carried out before the process of unloading alumina powder at the port of PT. Inalum (persero), to find out the resistance when dismantling alumina powder is port of PT. Inalum (persero) to find out the prevention of delays the process of unloading alumina powder at the port of PT. Inalum (persero. Method what is done is the method of observation and interview. The result of the research is that the process of disassembling alumina powder does not fully in accordance with the has been set, troubled by the weather demolition. Obstacles that occur when carrying out demolition. There are several, among others, weather, demolition equipment, and resources man. As for how to prevent delays in the powder disassembly processalumina at the port of PT.Inalum (persero), namely there must be coordination in the process, the existence of a ship crane as an effective means of transport, andthe presence of mantenace at the time of dismantling which is not certain which is sometimes negligence.
