Abstract

This study aims to create a temperature monitoring system for distillation of citronella using an arduino mega 2560. The components of the distillation that are monitored for temperature are Boiler, Distillator and Condenser. The researcher uses a type K thermocouple sensor and a max6675 drive as a temperature reading system which will be displayed via the LCD. From this study, the results of the comparison of boiler temperature monitoring between type K thermocouples and manometers with a difference of 3.4oC and an error value of 4.25% are obtained, the difference value is considered the same in all components because it uses the same type of sensor.
