Abstract

An electric motor is a device for converting electrical energy into mechanical energy. AC motor is an electric motor that is driven by alternating current or alternating current (AC). Generally, an AC motor consists of two main components, namely a stator and a rotor. Basically the induction motor is operated at a constant speed, if the load changes then the motor speed will also change. Therefore, the right technology must be needed to be able to regulate the rotation of a stable single-phase motor. By having a variable rotation of the motor, the speed of this single-phase motor can be controlled. Motor speed control can be done by adjusting the voltage value for single-phase electric motor speed regulation. In setting the motor speed, it can be done by setting the voltage value on the voltmeter display using a potentiometer in the triac and diac circuit.
