Abstract

Along with the development and population growth in every urban area, especially in the community, the demand for additional burden from electricity consumers to PT. PLN (Persero) is increasing. The design of a 1300 WATT - 2200 WATT electrical power monitoring device has been carried out in a portable way. In carrying out its functions, the system uses an on-off control action to provide protection with the PZEM-004T sensor module as a power meter, while the buzzer acts as an alarm or notification when there is an overload. The system also uses an LCD as a display of power measurements detected by the PZEM-004T sensor. Overall the system has been able to monitor power usage and the buzzer gives sound notifications when there is an overload and is displayed by the LCD as monitoring. Based on the results of testing tools that the system is running well.
