Abstract
Currently, information about teachers or tutoring places in Bengkalis can still be obtained by coming directly to the tutoring center or asking directly to the surrounding community, both in terms of service providers and the subjects available in the tutoring. This makes it difficult for parents and children to find a suitable teacher or mentor. Parents too, many cannot monitor their children at home because they are busy with work, or parents do not understand their children's lessons, so tutoring services are needed by parents to help their children's education, who are not only responsible for teachers at school. Based on the current problems, this research build an Android Based Tutoring Application. Where the purpose of this application is to help parents and children in finding a suitable teacher or mentor. This application can also open up jobs for someone who has expertise in a particular science. Based on the results of testing the application of this application, it can help the community to find teachers or mentors according to their needs, besides that this application can also be a promotional medium for tutoring places and people who want to open tutoring services.
