Abstract
PLTU mini is one of the power plants designed to perform peraktikum in higher education and secondary schools, especially the electrical engineering department, so that it is easy to do practicum and understand the mini steam power generation system in the mini PLTU system. in the combustion system, it must fulfill three elements, namely fuel, air and spark or the ignition of the combustion system which functions to burn a boiler, the steam engine as a propeller and a replacement for moving back and forth into a rotation to drive an AC generator, the AC generator is used to get the electrical voltage and is fed to the light load section as a signal that the system is working, the data is measured to get a peak tension of 57 VAC with a rotation of 1620 rpm without load and a rotation of 1608 RPM gets a voltage of 28 VAC using the load of the lamp load air conditioning. Based on testing and analysis, the success rate in this study reached 57 % because it still had problems stabilizing the 3 bar steam pressure in the boiler in order to get a stable AC voltage of 57 VAC.
