Abstract

Tajweed is knowledge to learn how to read the Qur'an in tartil or good and right, so that its meaning is perfect. Reading the Qur'an with tartil (according to the science of Tajweed) is obligatory for every Muslim. The science of Tajweed is taught only a little in schools, usually only inserted in Islamic Religious Education lessons. The science of recitation is more popular among students or Islamic boarding schools only. Many people (Muslims) do not know what recitation is and how to recite the verses of the Qur'an in accordance with tajwid. They can only read the Koran, without accompanying the law of recitation of the verse reading. As a solution to these problems, the author built an application, namely the Mobile-based Tajweed Learning Application to help users (Muslims) to be able to learn recitation correctly, and be able to communicate with teachers who will guide users to apply it in reading the Qur'an in tartil (good and right). In this study the research methodology used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). There are 6 stages of this method, namely: Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing, and Distribution. The result of the system design in writing this thesis is an application that runs on the Android operating system, where there are several menus that provide learning Tajweed in stages. The results of the blackbox testing test are that the application can run as expected, where the functions of each menu function properly. The existence of this tajwid learning application can help users to learn recitation correctly, and the teacher also helps guide users to apply it in reading the Qur'an in tartil (good and right).
