Abstract
Increased demandd for sago processed by UD. Barokah has an impact on sago starch production.Increasing competitiveness among entrepreneurs means that many aspects are needed to improve the production process. The manual process is an example of an aspect to be developed to be automatic in order to increase competitiveness among entrepreneurs. In this case this research is focused on the sago sifting of UD. Bengkalis Regency Barokah which uses machines. Construction of sago sieving machines to increase operator productivity. How big is the use of this machine to increase the work productivity of the sago sieving operator. Based on the results of this study, the work productivity of the sago sieving machine operator has increased compared to the manual method. The test is carried out by calculating the time of 3,4 and 5 minutes with a sago sieving machine by sifting the maximum capacity of 10 kg. Sago sieving machine is expected to increase work productivity as well as efficient time, economical and labor.
