Abstract

This research aims to make a rotary type sand sieving machine with a capacity of 300 kg/hour. Sifting is the separation of material based on the size of the sieve wire machine, material that has a size smaller than the diameter of the machine will pass and materials that has a larger size will be retained on the surface of the sieve wire. The sifted sand should be sand that is already dry. The researcher used a 1 Phase AC electric motor with 1 HP power. From this research, the comparison results obtained from sieving using machine and sieving manually.
