Abstract
The development of this technology is very rapid, especially in the field of information. This is due to the increasing human need for fast and accurate information. It is very important for companies engaged in Hospitality to be able to adapt. At this time, the process of ordering guest rooms on Rupat Island is still done manually, namely by making reservations by coming directly to the location of the guesthouse, not infrequently many customers cannot book because the rooms are all filled or none are empty. So that customers find it difficult and have to go find another guesthouse. In this study, an online guest house reservation information system will be designed using the PHP programming language with the CodeIgniter framework and MySql as the database management system. This information system is equipped with features such as online ordering, payments, maps. From the results of trials that have been carried out on a website-based guest house room reservation information system on Rupat Island, the results show that this information system can help tourists on Rupat Island and outside Rupat Island and can also help tourists find information and book guesthouse rooms according to their needs. with what is needed. Websites can run well on browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge.
