Abstract

The use of Smartphones among children has now become a trend and even many parents have given Smartphones to children in carrying out daily communication. This has a very influential impact on children in the use of unhealthy internet technology such as playing Smartphones for a long time and affecting children's social interaction patterns. As a result, the child is easily addicted to the use of Smartphones. For this reason, this study aims to assist parents in supervising their children when using smartphones. Based on these problems, it is necessary to build an application for monitoring children's smartphones to monitor children's smartphone use using the Rational Unified Process method. The final result of this research is the creation of an application for monitoring the use of Smartphones in children on the android platform
