Abstract

Monitoring the use of electricity at KWH-meter is one of the difficulties in data collection of electricity used by customers. The difficulty in monitoring is mainly due to difficulties in accessing the KWH-meter. These KWH-meters are generally placed inside houses with fences. This of course will make it difficult for officers to collect data on the electricity used by customers. In addition, the follow-up from customers who are late in writing the amount of electricity consumption on the notice board often makes it difficult for the KWH-meter registrar to record the electricity consumption in a house. As a result, the amount of electricity usage costs that must be paid by customers every month is often not in accordance with what customers expect. This of course makes customers feel disadvantaged if the amount of electricity usage that is estimated by the officer is greater than the actual usage amount and on the contrary will harm the State Electricity Company (PLN) if the amount of usage recorded by the officer is smaller than the actual usage.
