Abstract

Roads are the main infrastructure that is very influential in the economic sector in an area. The Pambang - Teluk Lancar road section, Bantan District, Riau Province, is the main connecting road to several villages at the end of the island of Bengkalis.The road condition is currently in a damaged condition and inadequate for public traffic. Therefore, the local government through the Public Works office has carried out road planning at that location, which is planned to be continued with the implementation of construction work in 2020. In designing this method, we get general procedures for the implementation of work from the beginning to the end of the work based on the required specifications. Then the quarry location used is the existing permanent quarry near the work location with a distance of ± 5 km from the work location. For the placement of workers' barracks and field offices, also use the existing or permanent ones around the quarry location.
