Abstract
Continuity distribution of electric energi from the plant to the consumer cannot be guaranteed to be available at alltimes.this is due the presence of possible disturbances which occurred in the center of the plant,tranmission line and distribusion channels .so for connsumers who need the assurance of the avaibility of electric energy supply is required at all times need emergency suplly (Genset) that have anough capacity to bear all the burden at the vanue when the supply was cut off from the network,This research resulted in Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS.) will be ordered for the starting of genset when the main supply (PLN) is disconnected or disrupted,which can be observed from the value of the voltage that does not meed standard set by PLN and load supply is taken over by the genset.and when the main supply PLN back to normal than back to load supllies taken over by PLN .the trial got that there are a pause the time between supply PLN disconnected until Generator flared and ready burdened as that 0f 8 seconds. And obtained a pause the time between supply PLN back normally up to suplly Generator terminatated and supplies burden back taken over PLN as that of 10 seconds.
