Abstract
Steam power plants (PLTU) are a series of equipment whose work processes utilize steam power to produce electricity. In a steam power plant system (PLTU), which plays an important role is the boiler. The main purpose of this system is to stabilize the pressure in the boiler using a pressure switch. This final project was carried out for 4 months at the Bengkalis State Polytechnic Electrical Engineering Department. The main method used is setting the maximum pressure limit in the boiler. The results show that for a boiler pressure of 1 bar, the blower on from the beginning of combustion is up to 67.29 seconds and on again after the pressure drops to 0.5 bar. The pressure in the boiler is always in intervals of 0.5 to 1 bar.
