Abstract

Lighting at PJU typically consumes 25% -50% of the total electricity consumption. At present, the source of street lighting is dominated by the use of PLN, where street lighting is on off at a predetermined time taking into account the brightness conditions at that time.Resulting in a waste of use of electrical energy. For this reason, the authors propose a street lighting system based on a fuzzy logic scheme to automate lights to achieve appropriate lighting and can save electricity.
