Abstract

Agriculture is the most important thing for Indonesian people, because most Indonesian people work as farmers. Both coffee, rubber, pepper, tobacco, rice, areca nut farmers and many more. Natural resources that have many benefits, and are a gift from Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, must be maintained and utilized properly for the welfare of the community itself and for the survival of future generations. The agricultural sector is a sector that contributes significantly to the Indonesian economy. This can be seen from the number of workers absorbed and their contribution to Gross Domestic Product (GDP). This fact causes the agricultural sector to become the backbone of the Indonesian economy. The results of people's plantations are increasing from year to year, including areca nut, chili and rice. Design and manufacture a betel nut dryer based on Arduino Uno. Testing the areca nut dryer. Design of an Arduino Uno-Based Agricultural Dryer is the first step to determine the idea of a tool to be made, this idea is expressed in the form of a schematic design. Circuit drawing of the tool to be made. This is done to calculate how many components are needed to make a series of devices into a complete circuit. The purpose of this final project is to obtain the drying rate and efficiency of the equipment system used for drying agricultural products with an Arduino collector system so that it can be seen from the LCD. The results of the circuit on the Arduino Uno-based agricultural dryer, it should be noted that the components need an adequate supply to provide voltage and current to the components, namely Arduino Uno, relay, power supply, and a 16 x 2 LCD. in Figure 4.1. From making the design of the tool, then the next is testing the tool and analyzing the data from the tool that has been made. The purpose of testing this tool is to find out whether the Arduino Uno-based agricultural dryer device is in accordance with the design of the tool.
