Abstract
Refrigator or cooling machine is a cooling device that serves to lower the temperature or temperature of the air or room, and this tool can also function to cool a special tool. The purpose of this tool design is to design a refrigator (fish cooler) on a fishing boat 1 gross tonnage (GT) with a wind power source (PLTB) which functions to maintain the freshness of fish caught by fishermen within 12 hours. The working system of this tool is by turning on the compressor, the compressor will work to distribute freon gas into the condenser, then from the condenser it will channel freon gas into the evaporator so that there is a cooling process in the evaporator. Testing this tool using 5 kg of fish with an initial temperature of -0 only takes 74 minutes to return to the initial temperature of -0 ˚C where the ideal temperature for maintaining fish freshness is -5 ˚C to -0 ˚C so that the temperature achieved is in accordance with which is expected.
