Abstract

PDAM (Regional Water Company) is one of the regional owned business unit, which is engaged in the distribution of clean water for the general public. PDAMs channel water to customers via pipes and check the amount of water usage for each customer every month that RTC processes. The water meter used by the PDAM is still analogous so that customers have difficulty in reading the amount of water usage as well as many cases of measurement of analog gauge equipment is less accurate in the measurement results, then in designing a tool that can measure the use of water digitally. This tool is designed using a flow water sensor that will measure the flow of water flowing into the customer's pipe and provide usage rates for each used by the customer, and the measurement results will be processed by Arduino Uno microcontroller and the data is stored on the SD-card then displayed on the LCD. The results of the experiment of flow flow sensor application in measuring the water debit almost works optimally with the average error of 1.82%, and the success rate of the tool reaches about 89.8%
