Abstract

To make it easier for humans to find information about the flow rate passing through a pipe, an automatic means is needed to read the amount of flow that flows in the pipe. Therefore, in this final project is made a flow rate reader using Arduino Ano based flow meter sensor that aims to know the flow rate in a pipe that works in a process, in this case made in the form of laboratory scale prototype in a tank. In addition to reading how much flow that flows can also to find out how much the volume of water in a tank. The design results show the flow rate reading depends on the height of the water in the tank. For testing using four different sizes, it has different readout error results. For the height of water in the 5 cm tank has an average error of 4.78%, for the height of water in the tank 10 cm has an average error of 1.46%, for the water level in the tank 15 cm has an average error of 7% and for the water level in the tank 20 cm has an average error of 7.9%
