Abstract

Baby sleep problems are widely recognized by parents, very difficult to handle especially if it often happens in evenings. One attempt to lighten up it is with the application of automation on the baby swing, then the swing is used sound sensor. results of reading these sensors become input parameters to activite the swing motion. For realize that in this research focused on sound and sound design .the most important thing of the process, the design of this sensor is the extraction of voice crying baby to get the characteristics the signal this feature is an inner parameter the voice recognition process so that the sensor can identify the crying sound of the baby after tested 8 sound samples baby crying there are 2 samples that are not identified as a baby’s cry. from overall test of sound samples infant cries are identified obtained on average error of 22% . while the test results to the sound other than the crying of the baby has an average, average error of 12,5%
