Abstract

Generally the electronic devices in the household are manually controlled, for example lights. Lamps are electronic devices that work for lighting so are very important for activities in the house. But it will happen to be difficult to turn on the lights every time, manually when someone has other busyness. Therefore, the need for a controller that can be used efficiently from a distance. Based on these thoughts, the authors create a tool that can be used to control the flame of lights from a distance using android smartphone. This control system utilize bluetooth on smartphone. Then the incoming signal will be processed by arduino as the control center. the signal supplied from the arduino is sent to the relay to turn on the light. This control system can be independently managed for each lamp in any user-controlled room from a pre�installed android smartphone app. The maximum distance of operation of the appliance with no obstructions is 30 meters, while the operating distance with the barrier is 15 meters. When there is a barrier the further distance the smartphone with the microcontroller, there will be a delay when the light is turned on.
