Abstract

According to the health minister regulation of the republic of indonesia No. 86/197, alcoholic beverages are divided into 3 groups, namely group A with alcohol content of 1-5%. To find out alcohol levels in alcoholic beverages neet to do testing in the laboratory. The tools used in the laboratory have quite large dimensions at high prices. Therefore it is neccessary to dsign a system bhat has a small dimension, the price is relatively cheap and easy to use. So that people can use the system to find out alcohol levels in an alcoholic beverage. The system that will be designed consists of several components, namely the mq-3 gas sensor to detect sample alcohol vapor, arduino uno microcontroller and LCD. Microcontroller as the mind control on this system will manage data from the sensor output in the from of analog foltage, than produce a percentage of alcohol content this played on the LCD. From the results of testing and calibration, a system designed to measure alcohol content in the from of percentages and can determina classes according to the regulation of the indonesian ministry of health
