Abstract

In the last few years Indonesia has been faced with the problem of decreasing decent and productive agricultural land. To deal with these problems, one form of innovation that is now widely used by farmers in the world, especially countries that lack agricultural land, is to use water as agricultural land or in general is known as a hydroponic system. This study aims to create a new innovation related to the irrigation mechanism in hydroponic plants with a more complex automatic system including the plant irrigation circulation system, levels of nutrient solution intake, watering plants and replenishing water tanks. The control system involves the working of Ultrasonic sensors HC-SR04, DHT22 and pH sensors. Based on the test results, the sensor is able to read values according to its specifications and provide an accurate response to the output in the form of motor control as a water recharging pump, a watering plant pump and a nutrition pump. The HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor works with an accuracy level of 98.68 % and works accurately when testing with a refill pump motor. DHT22 sensor works with an accuracy of 84.71 % of the humidity meter and works accurately when testing with a nutritional pump motor with a benchmark reading from the sensor. The pH sensor works with an accuracy level of 92.74 % for the pH value testing solution and works accurately when testing with a nutritional pump motor with a benchmark reading from the sensor. Based on the results of testing the overall tool work system, the percentage of device working accuracy was 96.67 % with an error of 3.33 %.
