Abstract

Aldy Jaya Store is one of the stores that sells food and various supplies, including fishing equipment, fish supplies, and bird accessories. However, this store does not yet have a proper system for recording transactions or managing stock, making it difficult for the owner to retrieve sales reports. Additionally, the lack of specific stock information often leads to customer dissatisfaction. Therefore, this research aims to design a web-based cashier application that facilitates recording sales transactions and monitoring available stock, thereby simplifying reporting. The design of this cashier application follows the Secure Software Development Life Cycle (S-SDLC) methodology. The application is developed through security requirement identification, security design, secure code development, security testing, system implementation, and security maintenance. The research findings indicate that the developed cashier application improves operational efficiency and data security while providing access control based on user roles. By implementing data classification and access control, the application not only serves as a transaction recording tool but also protects data from threats, enhances information integrity, and ensures system availability.
