Abstract

This Project examines the implementation of the Spelling Bee competition for elementary and junior high school students held at the Polbeng Business Expo, focusing on the aspects of the human resources involved. The event aims to improve English language skills among elementary school students, reflecting the growing importance of English language education in the context of globalization in Indonesia. The competition procedure gave participants a maximum of 20 seconds to spell each word correctly, in accordance with standard American and British spelling. With the number of participants expected to reach more than 115 people, the author role project emphasized the importance of having qualified human resources who master the spelling bee format and have strong English language skills to ensure the smooth running of the event. This initiative not only supports educational development at the primary school level, but also encourages students to improve their spelling through competitive engagement. The overall highlight the importance of extracurricular activities, such as spelling competitions, in fostering English proficiency among young learners. Overall, this project result underscores the role of organizing events in fostering educational growth and language acquisition in the current era.
