Pengaruh Indeks Biaya Konstruksi, Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, dan Alokasi Belanja Modal terhadap Indeks Pembangunan Manusia Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Riau Tahun 2019–2023

This study aims to determine the effect of the construction cost index, economic growth, and capital expenditure allocation on the Human Development Index (HDI) of districts/cities in Riau Province from 2019 to 2023. The population in this study consists of 12 districts/cities in Riau Province. This research uses a quantitative approach and secondary data. The data for this study was collected through documentation methods by gathering reports related to construction costs, economic growth, and capital expenditure allocation in Riau Province from 2019 to 2023, obtained from the official websites of the Ministry of Finance Directorate General of Fiscal Balance and the official website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The data were processed using SPSS 27 software with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that, partially, the construction cost index variable has a positive effect on the Human Development Index, the economic growth variable has a positive effect on the Human Development Index, and the capital expenditure allocation variable has a positive effect on the Human Development Index. The obtained Adjusted R square value of 23.7% means that the Human Development Index (Y) is influenced by the variables tested by the author, while the remaining 76.3% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.
