Abstract
The objective of this study is to analyze respondents’ perceptions of human resource development (HRD), examine their perceptions of employee performance, and assess the influence of HRD on improving employee performance at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), Bengkalis Branch Office. This research is an associative study that uses primary data obtained through questionnaires. The sampling technique applied is non-probability sampling, involving a total of 72 respondents. Data were collected by directly distributing questionnaires to BRI employees who served as respondents. The data were then analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, simple correlation tests, simple linear regression tests, and t-tests. The results of this study indicate that human resource development has an influence on improving employee performance at PT. BRI Bengkalis Branch, with a contribution of 8.2%, while the remaining 91.8% is influenced by other factors.
