Penerapan Sistem Dan Prosedur Pengamanan Dan Pemeliharaan Barang Milik Daerah Pada Dermaga Air Putih Kecamatan Bengkalis

This research discusses the security and maintenance systems and procedures for regional government-owned assets at the Air Putih Pier in Bengkalis District, which plays a vital role in supporting local transportation and economic activities. The objective is to identify the implementation of sustainable security and maintenance practices by the Bengkalis District Transportation Office in accordance with the established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The research employs a qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Findings indicate that security and maintenance procedures have been carried out in line with the SOP. However, their implementation still requires improvement in terms of supervision and technical effectiveness. Maintenance costs are allocated through the Regional Budget (APBD) and are used for routine tasks such as repainting, structural repairs, and replacement of pier components. Strengthening coordination among work units, providing technical training for staff, and involving the community in asset preservation are essential. With these efforts, the Air Putih Pier is expected to continue operating optimally and to support connectivity and economic growth in the Bengkalis area
