Abstract

This study aims to find out more about the management of dangerous goods permits, to find out the obstacles when managing dangerous goods permits, and how to expedite the management of dangerous goods permits on the MT. Pancaran 120 ship by PT. Sinar Maritim Anugerah, Dumai Branch. The problems found by the author in this study are how to manage dangerous goods permits, obstacles in managing dangerous goods permits, and how to expedite the management of dangerous goods permits on the MT. Pancaran 120 ship by PT. Sinar Maritim Anugerah, Dumai Branch. When this research was carried out at PT. Sinar Maritim Anugerah, Dumai Branch, the data collection methods used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the first study, before the ship arrived at the Port to carry out loading and unloading activities of dangerous goods, PT. Sinar Maritim Anugerah, Dumai Branch, submitted an application for a dangerous goods permit at the Dumai Class I KSOP Office. The two obstacles to dangerous goods permitting are incomplete data, a lack of operational staff, and frequent system disruptions. Third, efforts to expedite the dangerous goods permitting process include agents' increased attention to the system used to ensure smooth document entry.
