The problem in this research is related to how the mechanism of the loading and unloading process of palm kernel expeller and the factors causing delays in loading and unloading to the efforts made to overcome the delays in the loading and unloading process of palm kernel expeller. This research uses observation, interview, and documentation data collection methods. The location of this research is located at the Inti Benua Perkasatama Port. The results of this study indicate that the preparation and notification stages of the ship's arrival, including document checking and schedule coordination between port operators, ship agents, and loading and unloading companies, repair and routine maintenance of loading and unloading equipment so that it is always ready for use. With this process, it will reduce delays in loading and unloading of palm kernel expeller (PKE), while the factors causing delays in loading and unloading are human error factors caused by human error in carrying out a job, technical operational constraints in inadequate equipment failure, then efforts made to overcome delays in the loading and unloading process consist of repair and routine maintenance of loading and unloading equipment so that it is always ready for use, Preparation of a more coordinated work schedule and shift system to reduce labor fatigue, Technical and K3 training for crews to minimize human error
