The development of digital technology has had a significant impact on the property sector, particularly in the process of searching for rental properties. In the Air Jamban Village, Mandau Subdistrict, the process of searching for rental properties is still done conventionally and inefficiently. This study aims to design and develop a web-based rental property search application that simplifies the process for residents to find housing that meets their needs. The application was developed using the Laravel framework, MySQL database, and Visual Studio Code editor. Features include location-based search, price range, and amenities, with a user-friendly interface. The methodology used includes problem identification, data collection, system design, implementation, and testing using the black-box method. The test results show that this application can help tenants find rental houses based on location, price, and desired facilities. The application also runs smoothly and can display all features completely on browsers on both laptops and smartphones. All main functions, whether on the admin side, owner side, or tenant side, operate as intended without any errors found in the testing scenarios. Thus, this application can serve as an effective, fast, and informative solution for both renters and property owners in the study area.
